Based in Bristol, but working internationally, Emily is an experienced set builder and multimedia installation artist with a degree in Fine Art at the University of Plymouth.

Inspired by the relationship between art, science and human perception, Emily's work explores themes of consciousness and nature. She achieves a high level of intimacy between her work and the viewer by creating multi-sensory environments which playfully and conceptually alter their perception of reality. Her work elicits physical and emotional responses which is what she believes to be the true success of her art.

Alongside her installation art, Emily fabricates commissioned pieces of work using computer-aided design and manufacturing technology. She is a member at The Factory in Knowle West Media Center where she has access to a CNC router, laser cutter and 3D printer. Emily's work there is commission-based and varies from furniture, window displays, signage, and bespoke pieces of art
